Oklahoma State offensive tackle Noah McKinney plans to enter the transfer portal after the 2025 season, according to On3.
The program decided to part ways with longtime head coach Mike Gundy, who was in his 21st season leading the Cowboys.
McKinney began his college career at UNLV before transferring to Stillwater. After appearing in just four games last season, he has seen action in every game for the Cowboys this year.
The 6-foot-4 redshirt junior remains eligible to return next season but is keeping his options open to potentially play elsewhere.
While OSU could make a push to retain him under new leadership, McKinney will likely draw attention from several schools in the portal. His situation adds another wrinkle to what’s already shaping up to be a pivotal offseason in Stillwater.
He was ranked as a three-star prospect out of Byrnes High School in Duncan, South Carolina.
Oklahoma State has struggled this season, currently sitting at 1-5 with five straight losses. The Cowboys will look to snap the skid Saturday night against No. 24 Cincinnati, with kickoff set for 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
With bowl eligibility already slipping out of reach, a win over a ranked opponent could provide a much-needed spark.
