Class of 2026 twin brothers Jaron and Kennan Pula have flipped their commitments from Utah to BYU, delivering a major win for Kalani Sitake and the Cougars, per Hayes Fawcett.
They are ranked as the No. 1 and No. 2 wide receivers in the state of Utah, respectively, and join several other highly ranked recruits, such as quarterback Ryder Lyons, in choosing BYU.
Jaron Pula totaled over 900 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns this season for Lone Peak High School, while his brother Kennan Pula added 596 yards and six scores of his own. Both showcased elite athleticism and playmaking ability, solidifying their status as top prospects in the 2026 class.
According to 247Sports, BYU now holds the No. 21-ranked recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. With the addition of the Pula twins, the Cougars continue to build one of the most promising groups in program history.
No. 15 Utah and No. 11 BYU were not only among the top programs in the Big 12 this season but also two of the most consistent teams in college football. Both squads finished with strong records, fueling an already intense in-state rivalry, with each program now competing for top-tier recruiting classes within the same conference.
