UCF has lost another player to the transfer portal, as quarterback Jacurri Brown plans to seek a new home, per On3.
His departure adds to a growing list of offseason exits for the Knights as Scott Frost looks to reshape the roster heading into 2026.
Brown began his collegiate career at Miami before transferring to UCF in 2024, where he appeared in just three games during the 2025 season. He finished with 97 passing yards and one touchdown.
The dual-threat quarterback has rushed for over 800 yards in his collegiate career, including a 106-yard performance against North Carolina A&T. His ability to extend plays and pick up yards on the ground adds a versatile element to his game.
His departure marks another offseason loss for UCF, which has seen several players enter the portal following a 5-7 finish in 2025.
The Knights ended the year 13th in the Big 12 under Frost and missed a bowl game appearance for the second-straight season.
The program has not recorded 10 wins in a season since 2019 and continues to face challenges adjusting to Big 12 competition. With multiple starters and key depth pieces leaving, UCF will be active in the transfer market as it looks to rebuild the roster and regain momentum heading into the 2026 campaign.
