The 2025-26 college football bowl schedule rolled out on Sunday, and in the Big 12, with eight teams going to bowl games, the Big 12 is favored in five of the seven games that have currently been given spreads. The only one that has yet to have a spread is the Texas Tech game, because the Red Raiders do not have an opponent yet in their College Football Playoff quarterfinal match up. Tech will play either Oregon or James Madison.
But with the rest of the schedule out, and spreads announced, here’s a look at the Big 12 favorites (bolded) below, where you can also see the real-time college football odds at FanDuel.Â

The Big 12 is getting plenty of respect heading into these bowl games, with only TCU and Arizona State listed as underdogs in their games.
BYU just missed out on the College Football Playoff, and after being dodged by Notre Dame, now gets to take on Georgia Tech in the Pop-Tarts Bowl. Houston as a favorite over LSU is solid in the Texas Bowl. Last year, LSU handled Baylor in the Texas Bowl 44-31, but in 2021, it was LSU losing to K-State 42-20 in the Texas Bowl.
TCU got the nod in the Alamo Bowl, despite not being ranked, in large part because, according to a new report, the Alamo Bowl representatives did not have a lot of confident in Houston fans flooding San Antonio to make it a big event and weekend. So if Houston was in that game over TCU, the spread would likely be closer, and that would have likely moved TCU into the Texas Bowl. But since the bowls have dibs on who they want, TCU vs. USC ends up in San Antonio. But getting a chance to watch Lincoln Riley throw it back against a former Big 12 foe will be fun.
Utah is as huge favorite over Nebraska in the Las Vegas Bowl, and I’d love to see the Utes take care of business against Nebraska on behalf of the Big 12. Nebraska leaving this conference remains one of the biggest mistakes a program has made in the 21st century.
