Cincinnati transfer quarterback Brendan Sorsby has set two important visit dates, including Big 12 foe Texas Tech.
Sorsby, a native of Denton, Texas, is spending part of Friday in Lubbock to visit Texas Tech and will then make his way east to LSU in Baton Rouge, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

With one year remaining, Sorsby is the hottest quarterback on the market after throwing for 2,800 yards, 27 touchdowns and five interceptions this season with the Bearcats. The fifth-year quarterback has thrown for 7,208 career yards and rushed for another 1,305 in four seasons between Cincy and Indiana.
Adding Sorsby more than replenishes Morton’s 2025 output and would be yet another headlining scorer for McGuire’s staff. Regardless of how the semifinal loss affects Tech’s reputation, the program still managed a 12-2 record and its first conference title since 1996, the final year of the Southwest Conference.
LSU, on the other hand, has a big name in Lane Kiffin, as well as a vacancy at quarterback. Despite his absence, No. 6 Ole Miss just knocked off No. 3 Georgia 39-34 in the Sugar Bowl for a seat beside No. 10 Miami in the Fiesta Bowl next Thursday, Dec. 8, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
