Collin Klein and Kansas State just added two new faces to the Wildcats’ roster, each of whom has significant SEC experience.
The two additions are Texas A&M wide receiver Izaiah Williams and Missouri offensive lineman Keiton Jones. The pair both have local ties to Kansas State, with Williams being a legacy prospect and Jones being a local prospect from the state of Kansas.
Williams, a 5-foot-11 wideout from Tampa, Florida, committed to join Texas A&M in the Class of 2024. He was ranked inside the Top 300 on 247Sports, with a consensus four-star grade, and checked in as the nation’s 38th-best receiver prospect. In two seasons with the Aggies, Williams recorded nine grabs for 86 yards and a touchdown.
Keiton Jones, an addition of Missouri in the Class of 2025, saw action in seven games for the Tigers this season. The 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman was listed as the sixth-best player in the state of Kansas, as well as the nation’s 524th-ranked player and the 26th-ranked interior offensive lineman in his class.
With the pair of commitments, Kansas State has now added three prospects to its roster this offseason, all three of which are high-upside players from the SEC. Jones and Williams are joined by talented defensive back Keshawn Davila from Arkansas.
From the sounds of it, Kansas State had an incredibly busy weekend for portal visits, and more news could be just around the corner. Good to see Collin Klein hitting the ground running early.
