K-State Has a New 4.28-Speedster Heading to Manhattan

You see the title, Kansas State has a new dynamic player committed through the transfer portal.

That player is Hawaii transfer wide receiver Brandon White, who reportedly runs a blazing fast 4.28 40-yard dash time.

White, a 5-foot-8, 170-pound junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, joins the Wildcats after one season with the Rainbow Warriors and two with the Kentucky Wildcats. In 2025, White had his first taste of legit action, recording 38 grabs for 399 yards and two scores.

The addition of White is massive for the Wildcats as they didn’t have many big-play threats in the wide receiver room, and now they do. As talented as All-Big 12 Honorable Mention Jaron Tibbs is, he’s a big, physical possession receiver. The same can be said for Missouri transfer Joshua Manning and JUCO All-American Derrick Salley Jr. Now, with White on the squad, Collin Klein has a similar prototype to that of KC Concepcion, a Texas A&M star, if you squint.

Coming out of Archbishop Moeller in the Class of 2022, White was listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 1191st-ranked player. He also checked in as the 161st-ranked player at his position and the 35th-ranked player in the state of Ohio. Three seasons later, White is listed in a similar standing in the transfer portal as a three-star, the 1616th-ranked player available, and the 231st-ranked receiver.

With the commitment, Kansas State now has 24 incoming transfers, ranking 36th in the country. They currently trail Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Arizona State, Colorado, and Baylor with the sixth-best Big 12 class.
