Jimmy Rogers and Iowa State aren’t quite done in the transfer portal, yet.
TCU transfer wideout Jordyn Bailey has signed with the Cyclones on Wednesday, according to a report by Chris Hummer of CBS Sports. It’s the 46th portal victory for the Rogers staff, and the fifth at wide receiver since Matt Campbell’s departure.
Not only is Iowa State tasked with replacing the arm of Rocco Becht, who rejoined Campbell at Penn State earlier this offseason, but multiple receivers are needed to complement the eventual starter under center.
Bailey caught a pass in three games as a sophomore in 2025, including two catches for 30 yards against Houston. With two years left, Bailey will compete for a spot in a largely competitive room of incoming talent.
Bailey was previously a four-star recruit out of Ryan High School in Denton, Texas, and appeared in all 12 games for TCU as a redshirt freshman in 2024. He’s looking for a new start after missing multiple games last season due to an undisclosed injury.
Wichita native Carter Pabst followed Rogers over from Washington State, where he caught nine passes for 168 yards and a touchdown as a freshman in 2025; Tulane transfer Omari Hayes recorded 39 catches for 515 yards and a touchdown.
Three-star Bakersfield, California, product Malcom Watkins is already enrolled; The Cyclones can expect three more three-star freshmen at tight end: Drew Byrd, Luke Galer and Overland Park native Drake DeBaun.
