What It Means?
The only meaningful injury of note for this game is KU sophomore Elmarko Jackson, who is averaging 4.8 points per game and 2.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 39.5% from the floor. After playing 27 minutes last week vs. K-State, he only played four minutes against BYU.
While he may not see a ton of minutes on Monday night vs. Texas Tech, the reality is the Jayhawks need all the healthy bodies they can get on the floor. But if there is a silver lining here going into the game, Texas Tech is not a team known for its depth.
