Well, former Cincinnati turned Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby put out a tweet yesterday.
Normally, that wouldn’t be a story, but the content of the tweet had people all over the internet chiming in. Sorsby posted a tweet that simply read, “Wreck Em! Let’s Go Texas Tech!” supporting the men’s basketball team for their win. The thing that got people talking was the fact that Sorsby quoted the win graphic from Texas Tech’s win over Cincinnati, which Bearcat fans did not enjoy, to say the least.
Naturally, responses were not too kind, but we still found some that caught our eye, and here are some of the top reactions to Sorsby’s tweet.
There were many, many more out-of-pocket replies, but for now, we’ll save you the pleasure of heading over to the tweet and checking it out yourself.
Texas Tech and Cincinnati meet up on the gridiron at Nippert Stadium on Saturday, October 24th.
