Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament Seeding Set with Arizona No. 1

NCAA Basketball: Kansas at Arizona

The Arizona Wildcats will be the No. 1 seed in the 2026 Big 12 men’s basketball tournament in Kansas City, which starts on Tuesday at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The Wildcats were locked into the No. 1 seed earlier this week, but the rest of the conference was jockeying for seeding and the all-time important byes. The top four seeds get double byes into the quarterfinals on Thursday. The teams seeded No. 5-8 received single byes and begin the tournament on Wednesday.

Houston won last year’s Big 12 Tournament, and the Cougars are back as the No. 2 seed. No. 3 Texas Tech and No. 4 Kansas are the teams with double-byes going into the event.

Below are the final records for all 16 Big 12 teams, followed by the tournament schedule with times and television designations. The championship game is on Saturday, and the winner gets the conference’s automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
