Country music icon George Strait has sold out two shows at Jones Stadium on the campus of Texas Tech this weekend.
Initially planned as a single show, Strait added a second concert on Friday with Zach Top and Dylan Gossett; He’ll play Saturday night again with Miranda Lambert and Hudson Westbrook. Both shows are slated for 5:45 p.m.

The sold-out weekend is expected to bring $3.7 million into the area’s hotel and rental market this weekend, according to a report by the Lubbock Economic Development Alliance, as reported by KCBD 11 News in Lubbock.
