In a heartbreaking turn of events for Oklahoma fans everywhere, Porter Moser and the Sooners missed the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

Oklahoma narrowly missed out on the Big Dance as the first team out in favor of teams like Boise State, Colorado, Virginia, and Colorado State.

With news of Oklahoma’s unwinding catching fire on social media, we here at Heartland College Sports gathered some of the best reactions to the unfortunate situation.

That’s really unfortunate. Feel terrible for Rivaldo Soares. There will be quite the dialogue over the next few days. But a miserable gutpunch ending to Oklahoma’s season.

BTW, Porter Moser missing the tournament in his first 3 years at an Oklahoma program that was in a good spot when he took over is part of why Holtmann was better for DePaul than Moser

I want the committee to write me a 10 page paper APA style explaining how Virginia got in over Pitt, Indiana State, Seton Hall, and Oklahoma using metics and stats to back up their thought process.

Here’s a fun fact. Both Oklahoma and Oklahoma State have missed the NCAA Tournament for the 3rd straight season.

1st time that’s happened since 1980, 1981 and 1982. Over 40 years.
