Texas Tech Baseball’s matchup against the No. 22 West Virginia Mountaineers, which was scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Saturday night, has been moved to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday due to expected inclement weather.

“Due to inclement weather, we have postponed tonight’s game until Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.,” a university release reads.

Fans with season tickets will be able to use their normal Sunday season ticket to gain admission to the event. For those who purchased a single-game ticket, all tickets for Saturday and Sunday will be accepted for both games of the doubleheader.

The first pitch on Sunday will be at 1:00 p.m. CT, and the second game will begin 45 minutes after Game One’s conclusion.

Texas Tech (27-13) enters the matchup in sixth place in the Big 12 Conference, trailing league-leading Oklahoma by four games. No. 22 West Virginia checks in at second place in the Big 12 Conference and is two games off the lead. Texas Tech earned a major win on Friday, taking down the Mountaineers 15-2 in the first matchup of the three-game series.

Both games will still be aired on ESPN+.
