Arizona State’s WR room turned into a highlight reel Wednesday, thanks to star wideout Jordyn Tyson.

The junior pulled off a gravity-defying basketball trick shot in the locker room to bail his team out of walk-through practice, and the clip quickly went viral.

Here’s how it broke down: Tyson tossed a basketball off the wall, plucked it out of the air, then shot it through his legs. The ball bounced off the wall again before banking perfectly into the hoop, and the locker room erupted. The footage cuts just when ASU players pour in the celebration, but you can absolutely feel the moment.

The offseason can be a weird place. Stats, watch lists, and recognition matter, but moments like this matter so much more. Tyson was a standout transfer from Colorado and has since become a key focal point of Kenny Dillingham’s offense. Whether it’s with route-running or locker-room vibes, he’s establishing himself as one of the best parts of the Sun Devils’ 2025 identity.

Moments like this don’t show up on stat sheets, but they help define a team’s energy. Tyson’s shot had the locker room buzzing, and if his confidence on the court is any indication, the Sun Devils should feel good about what he brings on Saturdays.
