Joel Klatt Picks Oklahoma, Iowa State in NY6 Bowl Games

With the first New Year’s Six bowl game taking place with the Cotton Bowl on Wednesday night, FOX Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt released all his picks for the upcoming NY6 bowl games. Klatt picked the Oklahoma Sooners to beat the Florida Gators in the Cotton Bowl. Also, he picked the Iowa State Cyclones to top the Oregon Ducks in the Fiesta Bowl.

As you can also see, Joel Klatt picked Georgia to beat Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl, Texas A&M over UNC in the Orange Bowl, and then for the College Football Playoff semifinals, he has Alabama over Notre Dame and Clemson getting past Ohio State.

 

For the Big 12 Conference, the bowl season got underway on Tuesday with Oklahoma State holding on to beat Miami in the Cheez-It Bowl. Then at night, Texas rolled Colorado in the Alamo Bowl.

The Cotton Bowl between Oklahoma and Florida kicks off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday night, followed by the Liberty Bowl between West Virginia and Army on Thursday. The Big 12 football bowl season caps off Saturday when Iowa State takes on Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.
