TCU’s Mike Miles Suffers Hyperextended Knee in Mississippi State Loss

No. 11 TCU didn’t just lose their Big 12-SEC Challenge to Mississippi State, they also lost star guard Mike Miles in the process. Miles suffered a hyperextension of his right knee early in the game and did not return.
All in all, the news could have been significantly worse. Miles went on social media after the game to thank everyone who reached out to check on him, while adding he is scheduled for an MRI on Sunday morning.
Without Miles, the Frogs fell to the Bulldogs 81-74 in overtime.
Miles is having a fantastic season for the Frogs, leading the team in scoring, and ranking second in the Big 12 by averaging 19.1 points per game, trailing just Jalen Wilson from KU.
With the loss, TCU fell to 16-5 on the season. The Horned Frogs are back in action on Tuesday night at home against West Virginia, who they lost to in Morgantown two weeks ago. Then, they play Oklahoma State next Saturday, before their next ranked match up in two weeks against K-State.
