The Kansas Jayhawks have put together a tough schedule for the 2024-25 season under long-time head coach Brandon Schneider.
While Schneider still has a losing record at Kansas, the Jayhawks are coming off a 20-13 season in which they reached the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years. Sandwiched in between those appearances was a championship in the WNIT.
Kansas landed a non-conference showdown with Iowa at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., while they’ll also play in the Paradise Jam in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The schedule features 11 non-conference games and 18 Big 12 games. The league opener is set for Dec. 21 at Allen Fieldhouse against Baylor and the season finale is at home against Oklahoma State on March 2. The Jayhawks will get a week-long break after their road trip to Cincinnati on Feb. 8.
The Big 12 Tournament will be held March 5-10 at T-Mobile Arena and all 16 teams will participate, with the top four teams in the final standings getting double byes and the teams that finished in fifth through eight place will get single byes.
