For a second-straight week, ESPN’s College GameDay hoops crew is showing some love for the Big 12 conference. The show will be heading to Austin for the Red River Showdown between Texas and Oklahoma.

This comes one week after College GameDay was in Morgantown for West Virginia vs. Kentucky as part of the Big 12 – SEC Challenge.
This is just the third time in school history, and the first since the 2008-2009 season, that the basketball version of the show will take place at Texas. The good news for UT fans is that the Longhorns are 2-0 in the previous two games where GameDay attended: beating Kansas on Feb. 25, 2006, and then OU on Feb. 21, 2009.
The Gameday crew will broadcast for one hour from the Erwin Center starting at 10 a.m. Doors will open to the Erwin Center at 9 a.m. at entrances A, B and C on the concourse level. Admission for the general public and Texas students is free, with doors opening an hour before the telecast begins. The game will tip off at 5:15 C.T. from the Erwin Center.
Also, as an encouragement for students and attendees to hang around, anyone who attends Gameday will be able to stay for the Texas-TCU women’s game at noon, without paying for admission.
