It’ll be a match up between the No. 7 Red Raiders and the No. 13 Jayhawks and will be the fourth trip to a Big 12 school this season. ESPN has traveled to Morgantown for WVU vs. Kentucky, Austin for Texas vs. Oklahoma and Lawrence on Saturday for Kansas vs. West Virginia. Both sets of Big 12 games will have come in back-to-back weeks (Morgantown-Austin and now Lawrence-Lubbock).
The Red Raiders are 22-4 and 10-3 in Big 12 play and hold a one-game lead over the Jayhawks, who are 20-6 and 9-4 in Big 12 play. Texas Tech has already beaten Kansas this year 85-73 in Lawrence back on January 2nd.
Texas Tech is trying to become the first team to take away the Big 12 title crown from Kansas in 13 seasons.
College GameDay at the United Supermarkets Arena will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. C.T.
These two teams will tip off next Saturday, February 24th at 3:00 C.T. The game will also be a “black out” when fans are encouraged to wear black.
