Is it just me, or does it feel like TCU vs. Texas is always at 11:00 a.m.? I don’t mind starting off my day with it, but this could be a Top 25 match up if both TCU and Texas win this weekend and there are a couple of Top 25 upsets. Meantime, Kansas State vs. Oklahoma will definitely be a Top 25 match up if each team wins this weekend against Oklahoma State and West Virginia, respectively, as they both ended up in the rankings on Sunday.
As for why Iowa State vs. Kansas is a 6:00 p.m. kick off, well I have no idea. But I know Cyclones fans are happy about it as it gives them more tailgating time, which they’ll gladly take before heading in to watch their team play the Jayhawks.
Given the slate, I’m not shocked there isn’t a true prime-time game on ABC or FOX, but I’ll let it slide since we’ve got Oklahoma vs. West Virginia in that slot this coming Saturday night.
