Big 12 Bets: Three Teams I Am Hammering the Under On in 2026

Big 12 Betting Picture

The Big 12 is about as unpredictable as any conference in college football. Over the last six years, six different champions have emerged. No other conference in the country has had more parity than the Big 12.

Last week, I went over championship odds, and I thought I would follow that up by looking at win totals for every team in the Big 12. Here are each team’s win totals for 2026 and the teams I will be hammering the UNDER on when placing bets.

Big 12 Win Totals

Texas Tech: 10.5

BYU: 8.5

Houston: 8.5

Kansas State: 8.5

Utah: 8.5

Arizona: 7.5

Arizona State: 6.5

Baylor: 6.5

Oklahoma State: 6.5

TCU: 6.5

Cincinnati: 5.5

Kansas: 5.5

UCF: 5.5

West Virginia: 5.5

Colorado: 4.5

Iowa State: 4.5

Baylor Under 6.5 Wins

This is a make-or-break year for Dave Aranda for what seems like the tenth year in a row. All jokes aside, it really is a now-or-never season for his job in Waco. With Sawyer Robertson gone, Baylor put all their eggs in the DJ Lagway basket to try and get them back on track.

There are so many new faces on offense, and if the Lagway experiment doesn’t work out, that offense will be in serious trouble. I do believe the defense will be better, but again, it all depends on the quarterback situation.

The good news for Baylor is that they should get off to a 3-1 start with games against Auburn, Prairie View A&M, Louisiana Tech, and Colorado. However, the rest of their schedule isn’t so friendly as they end the year with BYU, Texas Tech, and Houston for the final three weeks. Combine that with trips to Tempe, Orlando, and Ames, and it’s going to be one tough year in Waco once again.

Cincinnati Under 5.5 Wins

It’s no secret that I wasn’t a big fan of Scott Satterfield when he got hired, and to this day, I haven’t been that impressed with him over the last three seasons. While his win totals have gone up, it doesn’t change the fact that they have been disappointing under his tenure.

Now with Brendan Sorsby gone, JC French comes in to take over. To me, that’s not an upgrade at all. While the Bearcats do have some nice pieces on offense, I don’t think they will be better than what they were a year ago. Plus, their defense has its own problems.

Between all the changes and a very difficult schedule, it’s hard for me to think that Cincinnati is going to reach six wins. I truly believe this will be the last season for Scott Satterfield, and if he doesn’t fix his 1-11 record in the month of November, he may find himself gone by then.

Kansas Under 5.5 Wins

With Jalon Daniels moving on, it finally feels like this program has a little bit of fresh air. But sometimes, too much of that fresh air can cause you to cough or sneeze depending on what’s around you.

That’s how I feel about this year’s Kansas team. Cole Ballard is the starting quarterback, and no offense to him, but that doesn’t really excite me a whole lot. And just like last season, there are a ton of new faces not just on offense but across the board.

It clearly didn’t work last year as the Jayhawks finished 5-7 for the second straight season. And when I look at their schedule this year, they have some tough road trips, and the home slate isn’t exactly easy either. Give me the under for Kansas in 2026.
