Baylor G Keyonte George Out Against Oklahoma State

The Baylor Bears will be without a crucial member of their team with freshman guard Keyonte George set to miss Monday’s game against Oklahoma State. George has been one the best players in the Big 12 Conference this season without him on the court, Scott Drew’s bunch will have to adapt.
George suffered an ankle injury against the eighth-ranked Texas Longhorns on Saturday and excited the contest during the Bears 81-72 win.
George is averaging 16.3 points per game this season, ranking fifth among Division 1 freshmen. Keyonte George owns 12 games of 20 points or more this season, which broke a record for the Baylor Bears.
Baylor is currently 21-8 overall, 10-6 in conference play this year, and will have a matchup against the Oklahoma State Cowboys Monday night at 8:00 PM CST. The Bears are cemented in their spot as a 2023 NCAA Tournament team, but for Oklahoma State, this game is big.
The Big 12 Conference is making a deep push to become a nine-bid league with every team projected in Joe Lunardi’s recent bracketology update with the exception of Oklahoma, and Texas Tech who is currently listed as a last four out team. The Baylor Bears are still fighting for a top seed in the Big 12 tournament and without George on the court, Drew’s unit will be tested.
