Breece Hall Harassed at the Airport by Crazed Autograph-Seeking Fan

NCAA Football: West Virginia at Iowa State

While superstar athletes put on showstopping performances in front of fans around the globe every week, sometimes passionate fans cross the line into borderline insanity.

That was the case for New York Jets running back Breece Hall, who had an interesting run-in with an autograph-seeking fan at the Newark Airport when flying back from Super Bowl 58.

In the interaction, Hall was joined by New York Giants legend Carl Banks, who kept the situation from getting out of hand. Banks and the fan exchanged words and added some name-calling, but the fan eventually cooled off and left without causing more harm.

Hall has quickly become a star in the Jets’ organization, recording impressive stats on the ground and through the air. Through two injury-shortened seasons in the Big Apple, Hall has totaled 2,266 all-purpose yards and 14 touchdowns.

The former Iowa State Cyclone should have his work cut out for him in 2023 as the team’s feature back after the organization parted ways with journeyman running back Dalvin Cook. While fans of professional sports love to mention that the word fan is short for fanatic, Breece Hall saw the definition of that come to fruition face to face.
