The TCU Horned Frogs have put together a difficult and compelling schedule for its 2024-25 season under second-year coach Mark Campbell.
The Horned Frogs are coming off a 20-11 season in Campbell’s first year in Fort Worth. It didn’t quite go as planned, as TCU had to forfeit two conference games after it was decimated by injuries.
The Horned Frogs were good enough to play in the inaugural WBIT, where they advanced to the second round.
Expectations are ratcheted up in Fort Worth, in part due to the transfer of guard Hailey Van Lith, a dynamic scorer who won a bronze medal in 3X3 basketball in the Summer Olympics in Paris.
That partially explains TCU’s difficult non-conference slate, which will feature games against perennial powers NC State, Notre Dame and defending national champion South Carolina. The Horned Frogs will also play in the Cayman Islands Classic.
TCU opens Big 12 play on Dec. 21 at UCF and follows that with its home opener on Jan. 1 vs. Colorado. The conference slate ends on March 2 at Baylor.
The Big 12 Tournament will be held March 5-10 at T-Mobile Arena and all 16 teams will participate, with the top four teams in the final standings getting double byes and the teams that finished in fifth through eight place will get single byes.
Here is the entire schedule, with game times and television designations.
