Zack Kittley Responds to Fan Who Wants to Tattoo Texas Tech OC on His Butt

NCAA Football: Texas Tech at North Carolina State

If you’re following Texas Tech football, you know that offensive coordinator Zack Kittley has been received plenty of attention this season, with many questioning the offensive play-calling of the Red Raiders.

And while there were moments to do that again on Saturday, the reality is winning cures plenty. And with Texas Tech upsetting Iowa State 23-22 in Ames, fans are feeling better about things. And the offensive coordinator is willing to have some fun on social media.

This post from a fan went viral on X on Saturday.

Somehow, Kittley found it, or had it sent his way, and elected to respond to the fan on X.

Oh, and let’s not overlook special teams coordinator Kenny Perry chiming in with this gem.

As for whether or not it will happen, the fan did admit that this specific photo of Kittley might be a reach.

All in all, it’s good to see coaches having positive interactions with fans on social media. And for Texas Tech, coming off its biggest road win in the Big 12 in years, they’re in the thick of the Big 12 race with just four weeks to go in the regular season.

Texas Tech is 4-2 in Big 12 play and now trails only BYU, Colorado and Iowa State in the standings. Texas Tech vs. Colorado will kick off on FOX at 3:00 pm CT next Saturday.

Colorado is on a bye week in Week 10, but at 4-1 in the Big 12, is tied for second place with Iowa State, one game behind 5-0 BYU. Also, Houston’s upset of Kansas State moves Colorado up in the standings, with the Wildcats falling to 4-2 in league play.

Both outcomes were a perfect set up for this game in Lubbock to receive a premier spot on television in Week 11.

And we’ll see if the fan shows up at Jones AT&T Stadium with his new ink. We won’t hold our breath.
