As new Baylor head coach Matt Rhule hits the recruiting trail in Texas, he has picked up a commitment from Lake Travis QB Charlie Brewer, along with cornerback Timarcus Davis.
Brewer set the national record for the best completion percentage in a season with 77.2%. He was also named the Class 6A AP Offensive Player of the Year this past season and helped lead Lake Travis to a state championship. Brewer was originally committed to SMU, but flipped to the Bears.

Brewer threw for nearly 4,000 yards with a ridiculous 56 touchdowns to only 3 interceptions.

Davis is a three-star prospect who waswas originally committed to Houston. He is ranked as the #41 cornerback nationally by Rivals and his offers also included Big 12 foe Oklahoma State.
During the regular season, Davis racked up 79 tackles and seven interceptions, and was named a second-team AP all-state player.
