AP Poll: Iowa State Into Top 10, Texas Back in Top 25

The latest edition of the Top 25 AP Poll features three Big 12 teams ranked. The Iowa State Cyclones are the highest-ranked team in the conference, cracking the Top 10 at No. 10, up from No. 12 in last week’s rankings after the Cyclones handed it to the West Virginia Mountaineers on Saturday in Ames.
Meantime, the Oklahoma Sooners, who beat the Baylor Bears 27-14 on Saturday night, stayed put at the No. 13 spot. Then, the Texas Longhorns, who hung nearly 70 points on the Kansas State Wildcats, leaped back into the Top 25 at the No. 23 position.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys are coming off a disappointing loss to the TCU Horned Frogs in Fort Worth and fell out of the Top 25 this week. However, the Cowboys still received 33 votes in the AP Poll, while TCU earned one.
