Big 12 Football Week 7 Kick Off Times, TV Schedule Released

NCAA Football: Western Kentucky at Wisconsin

The Big 12 has released its kick off times and television schedule for the Week 7 Big 12 football action.

Saturday, October 16th, 2021

Oklahoma vs. TCU, 11:00 a.m. on FOX or 6:30 p.m. on ABC

Texas vs. Oklahoma State, 11:00 a.m. on FOX or 6:30 p.m. on ABC

Baylor vs. BYU, 2:30 CT on ESPN or ESPN2

Kansas State vs. Iowa State, 6:30 p.m. on ESPN2

Kansas vs. Texas Tech, Kick Time TBD on Big 12 Now on ESPN+

Here’s how this will play out: If Oklahoma wins, then Oklahoma vs. TCU gets prime time next week, if Texas wins, then it’s Texas vs. Oklahoma State in prime time next week. Frankly, the latter between the Longhorns and Pokes would be a better game, and would technically end up being a Top 25 match up as well.

Baylor vs. BYU is a sneaky good game that no one really expected to be such a high-quality match up in the offseason. And then there’s Farmageddon, between Kansas State and Iowa State, which is arguably one of the most underrated match ups in the league. A lot will be on the line in that game for both teams, as Kansas State looks to avoid an 0-3 start in league play, while a loss for Iowa State would be devastating based on the expectations this season.

Kansas vs. Texas Tech relegated to ESPN+ is sad, but not unexpected.
