Last month, Pittsburgh wide receiver Jordan Addison made headlines when it was reported that USC head coach Lincoln Riley had reached out to the 2021 Belitnikoff Award winner to try and coax him into coming to Southern California.
Then, the very next week, Addison entered his name into the transfer portal and seemingly looked headed to USC to claim his seven-figure NIL deal.
Apparently, the nation’s top returning pass-catcher isn’t 100% locked in with the Trojans, or he’d like us to believe he isn’t.
Addison posted a story to his Instagram on Tuesday afternoon and it didn’t take long for Texas fans to realize that he was in Austin, Texas.
Here’s a look at the post.
Also, as a connoisseur of the chicken finger, I feel it is my responsibility to point out the Caniac Combo from Raising Cane’s in the shot. Raising Cane’s is, arguably the top chicken finger restaurant in the south.
Now, it has been confirmed that the Longhorns are hosting Addison by Mike Roach of Horns247. If Texas is able to land Addison, UT’s wide receiver room would undoubtedly be tops in all of college football, as they already have Xavier Worthy, Agiye Hall, and Isaiah Neyor on the team.
At Pitt last season, Addison recorded 1,593 yards and 17 touchdowns on 100 receptions, helping Pitt reach an 11-3 record and a Peach Bowl berth where they lost to Michigan State.
