Baylor Spring Game Announced for April 22
The Baylor Bears have set a date for the annual Green & Gold game, announcing it for Saturday, April 22 at McClane Stadium.
No kickoff time has been announced at this time, but further details will released on a later date, according to Baylor athletics. The game will be aired on ESPN+ and will be presented by TFNB.
The Green & Gold game will serve as the conclusion of spring football activities for the Bears, after a slate of 15 practices that will begin on March 21.
Baylor was expected to be a contender for the Big 12 in 2022 but ended up with just a 6-7 record. Dave Aranda and the Bears will try to turn things around in 2023, but have quite a bit of work to do with tons of experience walking out the door.
The Bears brought in the No. 34 recruiting class in the 2023 cycle, which was good for fourth in the Big 12. In fact, with Oklahoma and Texas out of the picture, the Bears’ class ranks second in the conference behind just TCU this cycle.
A lot of that new talent will be coming in will be on display in the spring game and we can’t wait to see what Dave Aranda and Co. have cooking for 2023.
