Kim Mulkey at LSU: ‘I’m Going to Take this Damn Mask Off!’
In some of the biggest news in college sports recently, Kim Mulkey left Baylor for LSU over the weekend for the same position as the women’s head basketball coach.
Mulkey had a viral moment in her introductory press conference when she opened by saying, “Well I’m going to take this damn mask off … cause I have a lot to say!”

Then there was this follow up moment where she got a chance to meet up with LSU football coach Ed Orgeron.
Needless to say, even Coach O seemed a little shy around Coach Mulkey’s personality.
Mulkey left Baylor after 21 seasons in Waco as the head coach of the Baylor women’s basketball team, including three National Championships.
Mulkey takes over a program that has not been to the NCAA Tournament since the 2017-18 season. Needless to say, she’s bringing her strong personality with her that in many ways will be interesting to watch from afar.
