The Oklahoma Sooners will play six home games, five road games and a neutral site game as they play their final Big 12 season in 2023.

The Sooners and the Texas Longhorns will depart the Big 12 Conference for the SEC after the 2023-24 athletic year.

The Sooners will play their first two games at home, hosting Arkansas State on Sept. 2 and SMU on Sept. 9. The Sooners then wrap up the non-conference slate with a trip to Tulsa on Sept. 16.

Oklahoma opens up Big 12 play with three straight games before a bye week. The Sooners open on the road at new Big 12 member Cincinnati on Sept. 23, followed by a home game with Iowa State on Sept. 30 and then a trip to Dallas to take on Texas in its annual rivalry game on Oct. 6.

The Sooners will play four home games, four road games and one neutral site game in Big 12 action. Along with Iowa State, the Sooners will host UCF, West Virginia and TCU.

Along with Cincinnati, the Sooners will travel to Kansas, Oklahoma State and BYU.

The Wildcats will play three of the Big 12’s new members this season. Cincinnati, BYU and UCF will join the Big 12, along with Houston. The Sooners don’t play the Cougars.

Along with the Cougars, the Sooners won’t play Baylor, Kansas State and Texas Tech in Big 12 action.

Each Big 12 team will still play nine league games. But, this will be the first time since the 2010 season in which all Big 12 teams will not play each other.

The Big 12 Championship Game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 2, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, at a time to be announced.
