2025 Four-Star ATH Tony Williams Commits to UCF
Gus Malzahn and the UCF Knights added a new name to the Class of 2025 with the commitment of four-star athlete Tony Williams.
Williams chose the Knights after receiving offers from 26 different programs, including USC, Florida State, Penn State, West Virginia, Iowa, and more.
Coming out of Palm Beach Central High School, Williams was listed as a four-star by the 247Sports index as well as the nation’s 369th-ranked prospect. He also checked in as the 10th-ranked athlete in his class and the 38th-ranked player in the state of Florida.
The newest Knight spoke on his decision to head to UCF with Rivals.com’s John Garcia, saying, “I’ll be going to UCF. I wanted to do it man-to-man to see how they would react. It was important for me. I realized it was a great place to be. I like the coaches, I like how they talk to me. Sometimes it’s not even about football, it’s about life, they just keep it real with me.”
Williams and the rest of the Knights’ Class of 2025 incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to see their team take the field for the first time in 2024 on Thursday, August 29th, against New Hampshire.
