WVU QB Austin Kendall Listed as Questionable vs. OU

West Virginia starting quarterback Austin Kendall is questionable to play Saturday for the Mountaineers’ road game against the Oklahoma Sooners.
WVU head coach Neal Brown said Monday on the Big 12 teleconference, “We’ll go out this afternoon and he’ll throw a little bit. I think he’ll be questionable for Saturday. It will depend on how much work he is able to do.”
Kendall injured his chest early in the team’s loss to Iowa State on Saturday. Jack Allison replaced Kendall last week and finished 18 of 24 for 140 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
Kendall transferred from OU to West Virginia in January and has thrown for 1,247 yards with nine touchdowns and seven interceptions. He has completed 66 percent of his passes. Kendall’s best game of the season came in a win against NC State when he completed 68% of his passes for 272 yards, with three touchdowns to one interception.
OU and West Virginia kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday in Norman.
