Oklahoma State has made several notable additions to its roster ahead of the 2025 season in this transfer portal cycle, and that trend continued on Monday morning.
The Cowboys lost a ton of experience from the offensive line this past season, but took a major step in addressing that issue after landing a commitment from Virginia Tech transfer Bob Schick.
Schick is set to transfer to Oklahoma State ahead of the 2025 season, according to multiple reports, including those from 247Sports’ Chris Hummer and On3’s Pete Nakos.
Listed at 6-foot-6, 304 pounds, Schick brings a wealth of experience and success with him to Stillwater after starting 23 games for the Hokies over the past two seasons.
According to Pro Football Focus, Schick played a total of 501 snaps for the Hokies in 2024, with over 90% of those coming at left guard, and the rest at right guard. In that time, Schick allowed just one quarterback hit, four hurries, and zero sacks.
Prior to that, Schick spent the 2023 season at right guard, logging 713 snaps there for the Hokies and allowed two quarterback hits and one sack.
Schick will bring just one year of eligibility with him to Stillwater and figures to occupy one of the Pokes’ starting interior spots heading into 2025.
